Assets holds every logo and image Brew can put in an email, in one gallery. Open it from Assets in the sidebar. Extraction seeds it from your site, and it grows as you upload and as Brew makes images for you. Anyone who can see the brand can browse the gallery and attach assets to a chat. Uploading, editing, and deleting need edit access to the brand.

Find an Image

Filter the gallery by kind: The gallery lists the newest first. Switch the sort to Oldest first to start from the other end. Search finds brand and generated images by what they show. Results come back best match first, so the sort reads Best match until you clear the search. Hover a tile and click Add to chat in its corner to attach it to the chat composer. Click a tile to open it full size.

Upload Images and Logos

Click Upload. Drop files in From computer, or paste public image links in From links. Mark each one as an Image or a Logo, then click Upload. An agent adds images with add_image, from a public link or from a file on its machine. See From an Agent.

Crop and Adjust an Image

Open an image in the gallery and click Crop and adjust. The editor can:
  • Crop to any shape (Free) or to a fixed ratio: 1:1, 4:3, 16:9, or 3:1.
  • Rotate left or right, and flip horizontally or vertically.
  • Change brightness, contrast, and saturation.
Click Save as new image. Brew saves the result as a new image next to the original and opens it. A brand image’s copy lands under Brand images and a generated image’s under Generated. The original doesn’t change. Crop and adjust isn’t offered for logos, GIFs, or images hosted on other sites.

Delete an Image

Open the image, click the … menu next to Use in a new email, and choose Delete image. The image leaves the gallery and image search, so Brew stops offering it for new designs. Its file stays hosted at the same URL, so emails that already show it keep rendering. From an agent, it’s delete_brand_image over MCP, DELETE /v1/brand/images/{assetId} over the API, or brew.brand.deleteImage(assetId) in the TypeScript SDK. Pass the assetId that search_brand_images or GET /v1/brand/images returns. Each call deletes one image, and it’s free.
It answers { "assetId": "5f750e5f", "deleted": true }. An assetId that isn’t in the library answers deleted: false and changes nothing, so a repeat is safe. Logos are refused with 400 INVALID_REQUEST: manage them here on the Assets page.

From an Agent

GET /v1/brand/images lists the same gallery over the API. Pass kind (logo, brand, or generated) to filter it and sort (newest or oldest) to order it. Browsing is free. A search with q costs 1 credit for its first page, and later pages are free (see Credits). Every row carries an assetId, the id the app opens at /assets?image=<assetId>. search_brand_images over MCP lists the logos and brand images, with kind logo or brand. Images made with Brew stay inside the designs that use them there: create_email and edit_email make new imagery inside a design and don’t add it to this gallery. POST /v1/content/generate-image (API only) saves each image it makes under Generated. add_image adds images under Brand images for free, and takes one of:
  • imageUrl: one public link, added at once.
  • imageUrls: up to 100 public links, imported in the background.
  • uploadId: a file from the agent’s machine. PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP, AVIF, TIFF, or SVG, up to 20 MB (SVG 2 MB).
For a file, create_image_upload opens the upload, the agent POSTs the bytes to the uploadUrl it returns (curl -X POST --data-binary @logo.png "<uploadUrl>"), and add_image takes the uploadId. Sending the bytes takes a client with a shell or an HTTP tool on that machine, such as Claude Code or Cursor. In a chat-only client, the agent asks you for a public link and uses imageUrl instead. add_image returns the new image’s assetId, so an agent can delete what it just added. Over the API it’s POST /v1/content/add-image, and a local file starts with POST /v1/content/image-uploads. Upload a Local Image walks through the three calls. Crop and adjust is app-only. Over the API, POST /v1/content/transform resizes an image to exact dimensions, optimizes it, or removes its background.
