New
- Brew in Slack. Mention @Brew in a thread to draft, test, and schedule email. Anything that reaches real people waits for an approval card only the person who asked can answer. See Brew in Slack.
- Unsubscribe lists per domain. Each marketing domain keeps its own list, and another provider’s opt-outs import from a CSV. See Unsubscribe Lists for Every Domain.
- Intelligent send times each contact. Brew sends each contact at the
hour they’re likeliest to open, within 24 hours of your start, based on
their own opens and clicks. Agents and code can use it too, with
smartSend. See Intelligent Send.
Agents & API
- More actions ask first. On OAuth and organization connections, more agent actions now return an approval request before they run. They include firing a trigger, deleting contacts, publishing an automation, resuming a send, and testing to someone else. See Confirmation.
- Agents no longer create contacts. MCP updates existing contacts only, and a send goes to people who are already subscribed. New contacts come from the app, an integration, or the API.
- Read what the app shows. New reads cover Brew Insights, comment threads, chats, and notifications, plus a domain’s score history and a contact’s open-time profile. See Read Brew Insights and Read Comments from an Agent.
- Upload an image from your machine. An agent with a shell can send a local file straight to the brand library, and delete an image it added. See Upload a Local Image.
- The data command is gone.
POST /v1/dataand its MCP tool are removed. The typed reads above answer the same questions, each with its own shape and scope.
Improvements
- Import any email format. Import email takes HTML, MJML, EML, or a React Email file. It’s free, and the same source always imports the same way. See Importing Existing Designs.
- A home for every domain. Domains in the sidebar shows each domain’s deliverability score, unsubscribe list, default sender, and DNS records. See Domains.
- Flows count themselves. A flows list says how many match, and one flow
has its own agent tool,
get_flow. - Images made with Brew stay in the design. Over MCP, the scenes an agent generates for an email no longer fill the brand library. The image generation tools left MCP, and the API and the app keep them.
Fixes
- Deleting an already-deleted email now returns its
deletedAt, as documented. brew-cli templates listno longer crashes withcountorgroupBy.
