Open the OneSignal integration in Brew
In Brew, go to Integrations and click the OneSignal card.

Go to Keys & IDs in OneSignal
In OneSignal, go to your app’s dashboard, click Settings, then Keys & IDs.

Copy your App ID
Copy the App ID. Go back to Brew and paste it into the App ID field.

Copy or create your API key
If you don’t have an App API Key yet, click Add Key and enter a name such as “Brew”. Leave the IP allowlist empty, then click Create and copy the key. Use an App API Key, not an Organization API key.

Paste the API key in Brew
Go back to Brew, paste the API key into the second field, and click Connect.
Export a Template
Once connected, you can export any email to OneSignal:- Open an email you’ve created in Brew
- Click Send
- Choose to export the template to OneSignal
- Give it a name, check the subject line, and click Export
Where It Lands
The template appears in OneSignal under Messages → Templates within your OneSignal app, ready to use in your campaigns. To view it, open Options on the template and click Edit.Editing and Re-exporting
Templates are editable only as HTML, not in a drag-and-drop block editor. Make design changes in Brew and re-export. To send a test email, scroll down to the 2. Message section within the Edit view and click Test & preview.From an Agent or Code
From an agent,export_email over MCP exports a design to OneSignal. From code, send POST /v1/emails/{emailId}/export with "provider": "onesignal". Connect OneSignal in the app first.
Export is free. Pass dryRun: true to check the design and the connection without creating a template. A dry run doesn’t test whether OneSignal accepts the template: only a real export does.
The template takes the email’s title unless you pass templateName (up to 100 characters), and the response returns its templateId. If an export fails, the error says why:
INTEGRATION_NOT_CONNECTED: OneSignal isn’t connected to this brand. Connect it on the Integrations page.EXPORT_UNSUPPORTED: OneSignal rejected a field value it doesn’t support. Change the value and export again.EXPORT_PROVIDER_ERROR: OneSignal refused or failed the export. Check the connection and retry.
