Connect your Braze account to export email templates created in Brew directly to your Braze workspace. Sync your designs and streamline your marketing workflows without manual copy-pasting.

What You Can Do

  • Export email templates - Send your Brew-designed emails directly to Braze as templates
  • Preserve styling - Templates are exported with inline CSS for maximum email client compatibility
  • Direct linking - Jump straight to your exported template in the Braze dashboard

Setup Instructions

Open Integrations

Navigate to Integrations in your Brew dashboard from the sidebar.

Find Braze

Locate the Braze integration card and click Connect.

Copy your REST Endpoint

In Braze, go to Settings → APIs and Identifiers.Find your REST endpoint (e.g., rest.iad-01.braze.com) and paste it into Brew.

Create an API Key

In Braze, go to Settings → API Keys and create a new API key.
Make sure to enable Templates permission for this API key.

Paste your API Key

Copy the newly created API key identifier and paste it into Brew.

Add App Group ID (Optional)

To enable direct links to your templates in Braze, add your App Group ID.You can find this in your Braze dashboard URL when viewing any page in your workspace.

Exporting a Template

Once connected, you can export any email to Braze:
  1. Open the email you want to export in Brew
  2. Click the Send button in the top right
  3. Select the Export tab
  4. Choose Braze as your destination
  5. Fill in the template details:
    • Template Name - How it will appear in Braze
    • Subject - The email subject line
    • Preview Text - The preheader text (max 50 characters)
    • Inline CSS - Recommended for better email client compatibility
  6. Click Export
After exporting, you’ll see a success message with a link to view the template in Braze (if App Group ID is configured).

  • API key with Templates permission enabled
  • Your Braze REST endpoint
